FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We can help you as much or as little as you need. We have hosted so many events and have contacts for almost everything so don’t panic, planning a party is really easy at Riverside Lounge!

WHAT EVENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED?

The only events we do not host are under 18 events, stag and hen parties and promoter related events.

CAN I CATER MYSELF?

Yes you can, we will even provide catering tables for you!
(Tables must be covered by caterer or host when self catering fod and catering equipment must be removed at the end of the function)

CAN I BRING MY OWN DJ?

Yes you can however DJ must bring all own equipment including sound P.A. lighting & DJ Stand/console. We do not have extra furniture to provide for the DJ and they also need to be able to produce P.A.T. test and liability insurance certificates (all equipment must be removed at the end of the function)

CAN I DECORATE THE VENUE MYSELF?

Yes you can! The only things we don’t allow are table confetti, confetti balloons, party poppers & cannons or glitter. You are allowed 1 hour prior to the start of function to decorate. (items must be removed at the end of your function time)

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?

NO! Once your party is booked you will be sent an agreement form outlining all agreed costing.

CAN CHILDREN ATTEND PARTIES?

Yes children are allowed to attend private events as long as they are supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS?

Unfortunately due to the nature of our building we do not have disabled access to the building. 

HOW DO I BOOK?

Go to our booking and contact section of our website and fill in your details. A member of our team will be in contact with you within 48 hours.

CAN I VIEW BEFORE I BOOK?

Absolutely! We have a variety of times available for viewings and a chat. Ring to book an appointment on 01642 633 645.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY EVENT?

If you have booked an event and you decide to cancel, any deposits that have been paid already are non refundable. In extreme circumstances we may out of good will reschedule the date to a later time if feasable.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY EVENT CAN’T GO AHEAD?

If the venue can not open for any reason beyond it’s control (EG: town power failure, pandemic etc) then any deposits that have been paid will be transferred over to a new date of choice by the hirer up to 2 years of the original date.
